Agnes Pearl Durbin

Agnes Pearl Hutchins Durbin, age 84 of New Haven passed away, September 23, 2014 at her residence. 

She was born May 23, 1930 in Bardstown KY, she was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of TOPS, National Motor Club, American Legion Auxiliary, National Rifle Association and AARP. 

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee “Bud” Durbin Jr., her Parents, William Alfred “Willie” Hutchins Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth Parent Hutchins. (7) siblings; Paul Hutchins, Chester Hutchins,  Mae Rinaldi, Sister Mary Jane “Ruth” Hutchins, Theresa “Pat” Walters, Rose Jackson and Jane Puckett.

 She is survived by her Children; Gloria Beck (Jimmy), Beci Allender (Greg), and Alan Durbin (Lisa) of New Haven KY, Susan Willett (Ron) and Libby Fife (Rickey) of Loretto KY, Lea Dyer (Ken) of Whitleyville TN, Mark Durbin (May Lou) of Bardstown KY, and Judi Bradbury (Jack) of Herndon KY., (17) Grandchildren,  (28) Great Grandchildren and (3) Great-great Grandchildren. Her siblings, Ann Cecil of New Haven KY, Alfred Hutchins (Mary) of Bardstown KY, Joe Hutchins of Brooks KY, Leo Hutchins of Palm Bay FL and Gilbert Hutchins (Stella) of Gravel Switch KY. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

A Funeral Mass for Pearl Durbin will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 10 AM, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. Hopper officiating, burial at the St. Thomas Cemetery, Bardstown KY. 

Visitation will be on Friday 2 pm - 8 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm, and Saturday 8 am - 9:30 am at the Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. 

Joseph L Greenwell Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Friends may go on line to leave a condolence at for the family.
